Itinerary
We start from the historic Muelle de la Lonja pier in Palma. The overnight crossing to Ibiza is the first leg of our journey. In the morning we dock at Marina Ibiza, wander through the old cobbled streets and visit local landmarks, and the next day make a short hop to the island of Formentera for a swim in its turquoise waters.

Next we sail to Cartagena, where we can rest and restock supplies. Then we head for Gibraltar: we plan to transit the Strait during daylight to practice navigation skills among heavy traffic. By evening we reach Cadiz, where we stop to prepare for the ocean crossing: inspecting the rigging, provisioning, and double‑checking the weather forecasts.

Our next destination is the island of Madeira. The crossing takes 4‑5 days, filled with genuine seamanship practice and ocean fishing. On Madeira we enjoy beach relaxation and two full days of excursions to the island’s most beautiful spots.

From there we sail to Tenerife – 270 miles of downwind sailing. We arrive on 5 November at Marina Radazul, spend a couple of days resting at the foot of the majestic Teide volcano on the wonderful Canary Islands, and leave the yacht on 7 November.

During the voyage we will visit five stunning islands of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic: Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera, Madeira and Tenerife. You will gain and practice key sailing skills: plotting courses on paper and electronic charts, handling sails, and steering the yacht in all conditions. An ocean of vivid impressions and beauty awaits us – all under the careful guidance and support of the captain. The captain, who has crossed the Atlantic and sailed to Antarctica, will share stories of storms, ice navigation, and the psychology of living and working together as a crew on long passages. Join us!
